I understand your point. I still disagree.

 

First of all, it is absolutley right that businesses track your internet usage and email - the internet is their resource and the business is paying for it. I don't have a problem there.

 

If being on an entertainment site during work is going to land you in trouble, then don't do it. It somehow seems wrong to force the rest of the site to conform to someone else's work requirements. If you aren't supposed to be doing it, then don't. Don't try and wiggle around the rules by inconveniencing everyone else.

 

If the content is inappropriate then don't visit the site from work. Seems pretty simple. Why don't people visit booty.com? Simple: the content is inappropriate.

 

By the way, I would get into trouble by golf references if I visit from work. I am supposed to be working not surfing. Golf has little to do with my job. If you are only worried about offending someone then you may as well serve up blank pages. Someone is offended by everything. It is a symptom of the politically correct world we live in. A few whiners ruin it for everyone else.

 

That is my opinion. Having said that, it isn't my site so I won't say another word about it. I'll enjoy what is provided.

 

I respect your opinion but the problem is everybody's work place is different and has different rules. Many corporations track your interenet usage and even your e-mail. Might not be right but that's the way it is. As far as removing golf references....I've never seen anyone get offended by golf info or references but questionable pics (in this case avitars), yes. In response to that, it is our job to make the site as workplace friendly as possible to avoid anyone getting in trouble by visiting. The other issue is, obviously, know the rules at your workplace and avoid the hassle.

The site is also for entertainment. Maybe we should take all the golf references out too - then it wouldn't show up as a golf site in the work logs either... :)

 

Of course, I don't see why you couldn't view the site as is from work, aside from the fact that it isn't work and people are paid to do a job not surf the internet, but that is a different issue all together.

I rember one time a guy ( i think ) had a picture of TW wife when she was doing nude pics, the pictured showed everything and I thought this site was a porn site ..

 

Im fine with avatars just not ones of nude people or inoproiate things.

 

The site is made to talk golf not avatars
