Fond du lac has 2 courses about 30min away, Rolling Meadows (27holes) and Whispering Springs of the 2 I like Springs better.... The Bull is awesome but about 1 1/2hr away....Royal St Patricks is a nice Links style course about 1hr away in Wrightstown.... Bunch of courses in Madtown just over an hour away....

If trying to stay close give Springs a try next time ur in area...

Thanks VInce, will definitely give those Fond Du Lac courses a try. So Two Oaks was a bit of a dogtrack, but I'm not complaining cause I shot the best round of my life, a 77! Haven't broken 80 in 7 years and my previous best score was 78. After yesterday's 91 at Lawsonia I was definitely in need of the ego boast.

Tomorrow I'm playing White Lakes CC for $20 on golfnow. I'm sure its horrible, but it is pretty close and I can get out early enough to be back in time for the rest of the afternoon on the lake. The one I really want to check out is Waushara CC in Wautoma, that one looks like it might be nice, at least on their website. But, can't get out till 11am there tomorrow.

Whispering Springs in Fond du Lac is a nice track and not too far from Green Lake.

White lake makes 2 oaks look like Augusta. . Only played waushara cc 1x and that was an owner ago....new ownership seems to be trying much harder.

you weren't lying, that White Lake course was the biggest pile of crap I've seen in a long time, but I had a feeling about that going in since the round was only $20.

I'll try Waushara tomorrow, hopefully its nice enough to add to the Green Lake rotation, at least for a change of pace once in a while.
