Qoda Golf Bags Long Term Reviews

I know this brand is fairly new, but I was wondering if anyone can provide any long term reviews on the Qoda Quan bag. The initial impressions I've seen posted are pretty solid, but with the tossing around my golf bag gets before I purchase I need to know more. Can anyone who has put some serious rounds on their Qoda bag provide some feedback on long term durability?

Well....I haven't had it very long but here are some things I can tell you after playing with it a few rounds.

#1. Not a single stitch has come loose.....not a one.
#2. The internal pockets are designed with a lot of thought. The little mesh pockets in the front pocket hold your tees uprights....that's right.....no more digging in the bottom crevice for a tee or having to carry a lame plastic bag of tees around. Just grap a handful...line them up vertically and drop them in the mesh pocket. They stay put.
#3. Got caught in the rain. Nothing inside the pockets were wet. I would imagine that is a big deal for walkers who have to put their phone/wallet in the valuable pocket.
#4. The second front pocket is REALLY deep. I can keep my Florida water and a tall can of sun screen in there with plenty of room for them to stand upright and still have clearance to zip up the pocket.
#5. The carry side lower pocket is PERFECT for carrying sleeves of balls. Just the right size. The corners of the sleeves do not show through the bag. That tells me that the boxes will not wear down the inside of the pocket. You don't have to fight the cart strap to get into your reserves. When you open the pocket, the tops of the sleeves are looking right at you almost like a dispenser. You don't have to dig around and guess at what you grabbing.
#6. Still wishing for more dividers and a designated putter well but that is a personal issue.

I'm still loving this bag. Still the best I have ever used or even fondled. I don't think it would beat out a C130 on a cart but as a stand bag it has everything you need and it's just built better than everything else.

Pretty glowing compliments. How is the strap system? Does it squeak like some reviews have stated?

I haven't noticed any squeaking. Maybe only complaint is it is a bit large. It's padded but you do feel the buckle. Once I got used to it, I didn't notice it anymore. No tangle system works as it should. I don't like not being able to remove them easy or tuck them away. They do get in the way when riding on the cart or digging around with the legs in use.

I have had my QODA stand bag since July, and I have loved everything about it. However, about a month ago, I noticed that when I pull my irons out, the lining comes out too. This should not happen, it becomes a pain to constantly push the lining back into the bag. I have contacted them in the past about this, but they have not responded.

I've had the stand bag for 2nd half of this season. For a model not updated since it's '11 release, it's still better than most.
Materials are 1st class & I'm guessing will prove to be very durable. Pockets are very well thought out. Previous bag was a SM 3.5 & I don't feel this to be any heavier.
Yes, the strap junction device does squeak when carrying on a single strap. With time that has subsided. Otherwise the straps/design are easily the best I've used.
The poorest feature of this bag is the club divider design. I just find myself having to struggle w/ tangled grips more than I ever did w/ the SM 3.5.
One of the nylon internal dividers ripped out at the bottom of my bag too....probably due to above concern.
All in all, I look forward to their new releases.....if & when.

I have used this bag for a full season and have three negative comments:

1. The strap buckle squeaks, but after putting a little lubricant on it, it pretty much completely disappeared.
2. The lining came out within two months, which prompted me to simply cut them all off since they served no purpose.
3. Club tangling can be bad, but if you put clubs back in when the bag is in an upright position, it isn't too bad.
