Calgary Golf Leagues

Just wondering if there are any good public leagues out there? Still on the fence about getting an annual membership somewhere this year, but if there is a good league to play out of, it could sway me in a different direction.

I play in the Men's league at River's Edge in Okotoks. It's pretty good value, 20 weeks for $550, which includes free golf on Wednesday and unlimited use of the practice facilities.

I agree with Double K, I play in the rivers edge league, Kim does a great job, lots of prizes, and also they do the rivers edge cup which was a lot of fun. Plus add in survivor ball !!

[/quote] Glad to hear that Kim's doing well at River's Edge, good guy. Also not a bad track especially to have a bit a fun on couple good holes on both sides

I've been looking for such a league myself, though it's tough to commit to anything pre-paid as I have to leave town for work. On the other hand, when I'm in town my schedule's open so if anybody out there is looking to play some consistent mid-week day golf, hit me up!

I won long drive this week and only bunt it 250 downhilll with a 30mph tail wind.......

A guy I work with plays in this league and really enjoys it. Unfortunately for me live too far away (far NW Calgary). I did get down there on Sunday with my dad and 8 year old son for aa late father's day round. Wish the course was closer because it's one I really enjoy.
