Mizuno MP 33

Very Solid

I have gone thru MANY sets of irons and I currently sold a set of mp 32's which are awesome irons...I currently have a set of Mizuno mp 67's, a set of Taylormade rac TP MB's, and a combo set of Snake Eyes 600b-600c's I built(with pured px's)...Also' I dug up a Mizuno mp 33 blade (6-iron)from my back room and went to the driving range...All these irons are awesome and for the money the Snake Eyes are very hard to beat but the MP33 definately had the most solid feel...Awesome ball flight too...It has DG s300..Anyone else taken away by the Japanese perfectionists forgers of steel???After all many other companies or have their heads made in China....What do you prefer??

I couldn't resist the temptation and just bought an MP-33 6 iron on Ebay. Can't wait to try it out! I've also owned MP 30's and MP 32's although currently gaming X-tours. Might put the MP-32's in play next season. I always get forged irons as I usually bend them quite flat.

I bought a set of MP33s earlier this year and re-shafted them with DGS300 (+1/4 in longer). So far this has been my best iron striking year...consistent, workability plus outstanding feedback. What more could anyone want in a set of irons. Surprisingly my distance has gotten longer...earlier I used to hit my 7i to 150yds...this year I have been averaging 162yds. I don't know if it is a result of the MP33 design or the fact that I have learned to hit them better (blade design is not very forgiving on mis hits)

My wife got me a new set of Bridgestone J33 CBs which are also very good, however after the MP33s these feel dead in the 'feel' dept. Perhaps it is the Rifle 6.0 shafts which make them feel harsh but they have a clicky sound / feel while the MP33s are soft butter like.
