The Pro swing footage post for trading swing sequences

Hi there
I thought this would be a great post where you could trade swing for swing and get swing footage of players you have and players you want in AVI format from fellow Golfwrx's members.
I have over 1000's Players swings on file for the V1 and cswing programs.
If anyone has any they want to swap through emails

This post is for everyone to add there swing list here and maybe find that player you have been wanting.
Just think of it as like trading baseball cards over the net but it is with Golf swings.

If you find a video on youtube you want to open in v1 och cSwing or something... here is a little guide how to do that.

 

 

1. find the youtube link (for example http://youtube.com/watch?v=PPnZE3IrHWk)

 

2. copy the link and go to http://keepvid.com/. paste the link and save the file as *FILE*.flv and save it to your computer.

 

3. go to http://media-convert.com/convert/. browse for and open *FILE*.flv. choose .avi below as "output format".

 

4. Let the conversion be done and then download the .avi-file and open it in v1, cswing or any media player

 

 

 

(Sometimes you can just copy and paste the link at http://vixy.net/. There you get the video converted directly into .avi-format)

The reason I use swingacademy is because my father-in-law is my coach and he lives 300 miles from me.

 

I put my vids on SA and he can help me from afar.

can someone post some of these on youtube or another website? i'd love to see a footage of adam scott or a top golfer's swing but i dont have any swings to trade you with. i'm sure other users on here will appreciate it as well. thanks

The best way is to download the free sample of v1 at

http://www.v1golf.com/consumer/default.asp

Go to download V1 trail and then download it, after that you can download the model swings for free and start your collection. They have over 40 swings on there.

You will end up within 3 hrs work with a great collection plus have a full working program to analize your swing and players swings for free.

Let me know how you go.

Still doesn't help me though.

 

I prefer slow motion playback.. and v1 says that's mot part of the free version.

 

I'll stick with swingacademy until I find something better.

 

By the way.. Thanks for posting those Elkington swings on SA.

 

I can tell by your clubs that you are a fan of his.

I just downloaded v1 pro...

 

I'm not terribly impressed.

Swingacademy is a great website for veiwing swings and much better quaility than youtube.

I will post a slowmotion of adam scott there for you from my private collection.

They are very big files though.

Did you buy the program?

I use the Pro version for teaching with great success.

The progam allows you to use tools to analize your swing against pros and use there tools to find the faults.

I must admit that living in Florida is just tooo expensive to be buying software.

 

Hurricane insurance = $6,900 USD per year

 

So... No boat.. and no software for me.

 

I read the specs on the pay-version.. seems like a lot of nice stuff there.

 

I was comparing the free version... not much to it really.. but that is to be expected.

Guys need a little help please.

I have some great footage saved on to a DVD in VOD format, i having been trying to convert it to AVi but all the programes i download to convert want to charge me!

Does anyone know of a way?

It would be great to get some info on that subject. I did a seach and there is nothing I could find on it.

I bought a program called

It converts all programs to any type of format and you can buy over the net for $29.00 It is worth every cent.

I also have a program I got for free called

http://www.radgametools.com/bnkdown.htm

With this program you can do hundreds of different things and convert files at will.

I hope one of these work. Try the free one first.

I dont have any swings, but i noticed that you have steve Websters swing on video. he lives about 20 mins from me and he is one of the purest ball strikers ever. He even sees the same coach as me. I would love it if you could send me his swing. that would be so awesome!

GsTv, Chris and Constantin, I just sent you guys some of the best footage of Snead and Hogan I have ever seen, I used my Shells wonderful world of golf DvD that has a 18 hole playout between Hogan and snead. I downloaded it to my computer and cut the crap out of it to get some super footage of the above two players including putting,chipping, full and halve shots. The quality is great as well. Tommorrow I will post some on Youtube as well.
