Too me the E5+ spins more, the NXT may be longer with the irons, prolly because of less spin, and the drives go about the same, hard to tell since the fairways i have been playing on are soggy and the ball always picks up mud, I have a suspicion that when the ground is hard the Nxt may go a little farther.

i have played em both and love them both. Nothing really different about them in my bag. They fly long and stop and spin back and they putt really well. I like the the ProV1X, TM Black and Cally ix better but I broke 80 with the NXT and the e5+.

I usually choose balls that feel good 50 yds and in so I tend to lean towards the premiums but I dont have a problem playing the NXT and e5+.

TM SLDR with Motore Speeder
Cally XR 3 wood
Cally XHot 2 5w
Cally XR 7w

In my hands they are the same or so close that the differences are minimal. Prolly the e5+ only on costs. I have seen them going for $21 on gpp.com. Locally i find the NXT at $29 and the e5+ at $25. At $29 I am looking at the premium balls of last season.

I have played several rounds with both the E5+ and the NXT Tour - alternating each during the round.

Could not notice much diff in distance. Both were much the same. Both felt fine and bit the greens well. ( I also played a few holes with a TM Burner - nice ball but does not hold the greens as well)

But biggest difference was durability. After a few holes the NXT was scuffed and worn looking. Even the paint was coming off. Any wedge shot made a mark on it with shreds of the cover hanging off. And I am not usually hard on balls.

The E5+ was much more durable and looked new after the round. The NXT looked horrible.

I think I will stick with the E5+'s for now.

I've had the same experience between the two balls - at $19.99 for the e5+ vs. $29.99 for the NXT Tour, it isn't even a question.

I went to the e5 a season or so ago, tried the NXT Tour for a bit (the price then was $25) and after the price increase plus the durability issue - the first shot shreds the cover - I went back to the e5+ this season.

I'm a 14 index & as such cannot tell any real difference (feel/distance/ballflight) between the e5+ and the ProV1x - both hop & stop (the ProV1 will back up on my short irons), both are long off the tee and good height off the irons, both feel great off the putter.

Both are very similar - not just in length, but overall. I think the E5+ might have just a touch more spin as the NXT Tours rolled out a foot or 2 more on approach shots.

I have played several rounds with the NXT Tour, but only one round hitting one approach shot each with the E5+, NXT Tour, and the B330S. The B330S, as I expected, clearly spins the most. I don't mind if my ball is a foot or 2 forward of my pitch or a foot behind as long as it's consistent. I'm looking forward to playing with the E5+ again.
