Coleman Cart Heater?????

My buddy has one and it works very well. He has used it several times and has not yet had to replace the fuel. He usually puts a towel over it then takes the towel with him when he gets out of the cart to take a shot. He wraps it briefly around the grip of the club to warm it up right before he uses it.

Keeping your hands and head warm goes a long way toward keeping the rest of you warm, too. I hear these heaters work very well with a cart cover, but I haven't used that myself. The base of the heater fits pretty securely in the cupholder.

I have used heat wraps on my lower back when it is cold. Those really make your whole body feel warmer and looser and don't affect your swing like bulky clothing can. I would really recommend those for cold weather golf as well.

PS. What happened to the Badgers this year? Seems like it all went down hill after OSU. John Clay is gonna be a monster for the next 3 years.

I think the Badgers were a house of cards this year and their weaknesses eventually got exposed. They seem to suffer from a lack of team speed and that really limits what they can do offensively and defensively against fast/spread teams.

Don't even get me started on the Packers.

I've had one for a couple years and with the cart cover, its great. Couple of older members at my club that I've known forever affectionately call it the p***y wagon. :D

Use one regularly in the winter-the GOlfcat, if I recall correctly-the only downside is that it doesn't put out as much heat as some of the other heaters (or at least appears not to)-I attribute this to the "pad" that is used to distribute the heat. I also have another propane heater (the direct reflector type that you can buy at any sporting goods store) which seems to put out more heat.

I'm in Ohio, too, Cincinnati to be specific. I played yesterday, with a high temp of 40 degrees. We did not have a heater, but another cart did have the Coleman setup, with a cover on the cart as well. They invited me to try it...warm like toast! Combine that with the towel idea, and you could play in any conditions, as long as the course was open!

I am looking to buy a Coleman Golf Cart Heater but had some questions regarding the propane canisters. The thought of disposing these canisters doesn't make me feel real green or environmental friendly, but while doing research on the topic I came across this little device that would seem to do the trick...

The canisters themselves say not to refill them, but after seeing this device it makes it seem plausible. So a couple of questions, is this dangerous/does anyone have experience refilling their canisters and if not how do you dispose of the used ones? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Sometimes my dad will use one in the winter when we are in NC. They seem to work well , but we also have a cart cover.

I wouldn't worry about throwing away the canisters, usually we will only use 3 all winter.

I have this one and it works pretty good. I don't use a cover, but I can still tell a noticeable difference.
