hit one today, was trying out all of the new drivers on the market with the same exact setup as far as loft and shaft goes

never had an Adams driver but this club flat out performs, it was up against the new Nike VR driver with the same combo shaft and loft

the Adams was 8 yards longer than the Nike with better ball speeds, launch and spin (this driver simply outperformed the VR in every way including feel and sound)

In terms of build quality and reputation, Adams has grown on me over the last couple of years. I play the previous generation Fast 10 driver and really like it. I bought it on a whim as I needed to quickly replace a broken driver for an upcoming trip, and I was pleasantly surprised. I also play an Adams 3 Hybrid and (for the most part) hit it consistently well. The sound of the driver is nice; not ping-y (not the brand), and not trash-can-hollow. It has a nice soft, metallic "crack!" sound at the sweet spot and the ball seems to move off the face effortlessly. Based on my experience with Adams, I'm looking forward to hit this new line up very soon since I'm contemplating updating my driver, 3-wood and hybrid. As far as looks/graphics, I think they're really "designed by engineers" looking, and they could really use some help with their overall visual language (but, I'm a graphic designer so I tend to be more sensitive to these things ).

Searching for the sweet spot.

I really like a lot of things about the F11. First, the weight of the club just felt right at every stage of the swing. That could just be me, but overall felt very balanced. Tried some different tempo swings and the club can go as hard as you can. Whether I was more aggressive in the transition at the top or turn at the bottom, there were great results. The head/shaft combo I had was stock stiff (maybe needed x-stiff or just a different shaft) and gave me a little more spin than I like. I can't comment on ball trajectory because I have a very high ball flight naturally. Ultimately, I think it is worth demoing if you have a shot. Definitely a good pick up if its on sale or sees a manufacturer price drop soon.

well, the shaft does really make or break this club for me. returned an F11 9.5* with a stiff matrix ozik (adams alternative shaft choice)....ball just went miles high. just picked up an 8.5* with an x-stiff graffalloy prototype NT shaft.....big difference, a keeper for now.

I was thinking of buying a F11 since www.tgw.com has these for 15% off (the next 3 days) the new list price is $249. So I think it brings it down to $216- PLUS they will give you a $50 bonus trade in on clubs you have to trade in against. What's also nice is they pay to have you send the club to Dallas Golf.

I Just took mine out today and loved it. I got the matrik xcon 6.1 stiff shaft in it, and it feels great. The head took a little getting used to. But I can go after it no problem. I did have a hard time getting it to flight a controlled power fade. But it's in the bag for now. And at 150.00 brand new at golf galaxy I think theirs no question.

Just got this driver and have only had 1 round and 1 range session with it. I must say this is a really nice driver. I was previously using a Superfast TP 2.0. The feel of this driver is much smoother. I have the Voodoo shaft in it. The thing I liked most is, even when I stepped on it to try and crush one it stayed relatively straight. I gave it a 4/5 based solely on my limited experience with it. It's cold here, Pennsylvania, so the distance isn't true. But, it appears to be longer than the Burner.

Got one of these for $110 out of the "Last Year's Demo" bin at Golftown with the intention of pulling the shaft (Whiteboard 73 x-stiff) to replace the stock stiff in my TaylorMade Burner '09. I didn't think I'd like the F11 head because it was a 10.5* (I already hit my 9.5* plenty high) but this setup has been giving me excellent distance with a penetrating trajectory and a nice 2-3 yards of fade just about every time...much more consistent than the Burner but who knows whether it's the shaft or the head? The only thing I'm not crazy about is that the face appears to lay a little open at address but that's nit-picking.

Recently purchased one of these drivers for 60 bucks simply because someone had installed a matrix hd radix 6 in it. The club looked good so I decided to give it a whirl before pulling the shaft. The sad part for me is, after three rounds with it, it has kicked my r11s with a graphite design 7 DI out of my bag. Funny how things work, a 60 dollar club kicking a 500+ club out of the bag.

I love my F11 DFS Driver w/ Matrix ozik stiff 6.1, 2.7 torque, 70 gram shaft. Picked it up on Ebay in March 2012. Big increase in accuracy and distance from old driver. Tingy loud sound is better sounding than old tinny sounding Nike square driver i used to hit. Would like to find RIP alpha 60 or 70 stiff shaft with DFS tip for windy days.
