Which Project X shaft?????

Looking for some advice.

Have a 910FD 13.5 on the way and want to try a Project X shaft in it.

My driver SS is 105 so looking for some idea which PX shaft would suit best for the FD. I read on here that the 910 PX plays a bit soft. Play PX 6.0 in my irons.

PX Graphite plays like 0.25 softer than PX steel so if 6.0 is a good fit, consider 0.25 stronger or softer (6.0 will be 0.25 softer, and 6.5 will be 0.25 stronger then your irons)

The 8C4 is what I have in my 3 wood and is a hell of a shaft. Nice piercing ball flight and if you're having trouble with your driver on any given day, keep it in the bag and use the 3 wood especially with the 910 FD 13.5 model. With your swing speed, you probably need the 8B4.

I have a swing speed of 105 consistently .with my driver and found the 7D3 5.5 to be the right shaft. I've hit all the stock shafts for the 910 and this shaft performed the best. Not much difference from the 6.0 but a hair more fell. Try it

Same as the aftermarket. The PX that comes as a stock option in the 910's is the tour issue 7C3 (73g, 6.0 FCM).

Do this applies to 910 versions? If i go with the 6.0 it going to play slightly softer than my irons?

Sorry I was taking about the 910 drivers, the 8C4 is stock for fairways. The first number is the weight, second is the FCM (A=7.0, B=6.5, C=6.0, D=5.5), and I'm not sure what the last number stands for. So, 8C4 is 80g weight 6.0 FCM.

First digt is weight range 6 = 60 to 69 gram, 7 = 70 to 79 grams, ........
Secons is flex A = 7.0 , B= 6.5 , C=6.0 , D=5.5, E=5.0, F=4.5
The last digit is a model number..
There will be a few rare shafts in play out there with other codes then the one whos been manufacured, and those shafts will be prototypes who dit not make it to the marked place for some reason.

8C4 is 82 gram uncut at 44"

If I am going to play the FD solely off the tee am a I better to go with the heavier shaft? Play 76g in my driver.

Great fairway shafts the PX - I had a pair in my R9 5w & 3w, but picked up a couple of Oban Devos to match the one in my R9 ST driver - I sold the 5w PX but still have the 3w - It's is an 8A2 which worked perfectly for me in my 13* 3w (I had the stiffer tip version 8A4 in my 5w) - If the 3w PX 8A2 was of interest I am in the UK so posting to you in ROI isn't a deal breaker (for me) - Drop me a pm if interested? ... Thanks, however I think the 7.0 will be too stiff for me.
