Diamana blue board vs GD Tour AD DI

I've been playing the original blue board in my 910 for a couple of years and love it. I've been wanting to get a nike covert with the AD DI shaft, but couldn't stand the thought of a red club head(which I like) with a bright orange shaft. But now that the AD DI is offered in black, I'm thinking I'm gonna get it. Just wanted to know if the two shafts have similar characteristics? And what are some pros and cons of each? Thanks! I was told that the AD DI and Ka'lai were pretty similar, and the Ka'lai is an updated blueboard. Having played the DI6 and blueboard, I think the DI gives a better ball flight. It launches high with a more trapezoidal arc and rolls out forever. The blueboard is a very good shaft for a lot of ppl, but not in the same class.

Depends on the weight. the 60 weight version in both is fairly close, but the 70 weight has a larger difference - DI7 is a decent bit lower launching and spinning than the BB73.

The Blueboard shaft is a nice one indeed but the AD DI is just as good. It is all in feel for me and how I am hitting it that day because I have them both. I am usually flip flop between the AD DI 6X and 7X but if I am needed a bit lower launch I put the Whiteboard 73X in.

Regarding the difference between the two (BB and AD DI) I would say that the AD DI feels a bit smoother and not as stout when waggling. I will say that when you pair a low spin head like the CT, RFX, Anser and others with these shaft options you get some bombs! My dispersion is a bit better it seems with the Blueboard so I may put that back in before the weekend.

I also play the Blueboard shafts in my fairway woods and I love them over the AD DI 7X shafts I had in my RFX fairway woods.

Ping Anser 12* w/ AD DI6x tipped .5" it's amazing.. tight flight and long.. I have a diamana BB83s in my 5 wood and its very smooth itself.

I kind of also feel that the di-6x plays very similar to the di-7s, if we are talking about differences in weight and flex, etc...

I have played/owned the following in my 913D3

D+72x
Blueboard 73x Tipped 1"
AD-DI 7x Tipped 1"

The DI is much lower launching and spinning than the Blueboard for me. They feel similar, but i give a slight edge to the blueboard for smoothness when tipped.

They are both great shafts, i think if i had tipped the BB 1 1/2" it would have been very similar to my DI, but the DI won for me.

has anyone tried either shafts in a Razr Fit Xtreme?

It's pretty bad haha I have the Bb built up again but tipped 1.5" it's nice
