Best Way To Get My Sightlines The Same Colour As My Putter?

Hi all,

 

Just wondering if anyone could give me any DIY ways (if possible) to change the black sightlines on my TP Mullen putter?

Ideally, I want to make the 2 black lines as close as I can to the steel/silver colour as the rest of the putter head.

Any thoughts and comments are appreciated.

Nail polish remover and toothpick scraping ! Take out the paint fill and it will be the same colour!

Cheers for that. I should've used some common sense and realised that it would be the colour that I'm looking for underneath the black.

Actually if you use a gel paint stripper, you can remove all the paint and it won’t harm the finish... I’ve done it to my Mullen everywhere EXCEPT the sight lines

This was from when I initially did it. It takes a few repeated application/removal to get the tiny letterings out (which you can see still aren’t quite removed yet). But the sight lines should come out relatively easy. Just be careful where you apply it because it will literally lift out chunks at a time.

 

Apply it with a q-tip or toothpick, and let it sit about 15 minutes. Then rinse it in hot water (try not to inhale that gas, it smells toxic from experience) then pick out the edges with a pin or needle
