JDM kool-aid

Just pulled the trigger on a Romaro Hx-460 gold. Head only. I guess I'll finally find out if the JDM product is actually so much better.

Good thing is, if it doesn't work out, it will be a pretty easy flip.

Like any club, JDM included it comes down to what you like. Do you like the shape? Feel? Sound? Flight? etc. They're all
different.

The driver head you have coming is a very good head. I didn't like it and "flipped" mine. You may love it, you may not. It is a
good head and does perform very well. I have a bud who wouldn't give his up for anything.

The HX Gold is the non conforming version? I have or had the LX455 Gold and its conforming. Romaro heads are good quality products and solidly made.
still have 3 i-brids.

Right now I'm leaning towards an Aldila Phenom 50. If not, then definitely an ultralite of some kind. This is my first non-conforming head as well as first JDM. Really not sure what to expect, but it should be fun none the less.

Ive got a RR HX-460 (black, conforming) head on a Tour AD GT-6 that's a goodn'. They make great heads. Playing their 3 and 5 wood heads also.

Good to hear. Can you comment on the feel and sound? The look reminds me of the Mizuno MP-650, but that's only in pictures, not sure how accurate that is.

Those drivers are bombers. Looks great at setup and performed awesome on the LM.

Haven't hit the 650, but from what I gather, the RomaRo is a little crispier than the Mizuno.
