Miura Irons

I would like a set of miura forged irons

 

I do not care what brand they are as long as they were forged by miura.

 

I want a muscle back style blade no cavity backs and I would like a low ball flight.

 

Any suggestions?

There is absolutely no way to tell if they were forged by Miura or not when buying OEM's equipment. For example some of every model of Taylor Made's forgings have been done by Miura but those same models have also been done in China, Taiwan, Thailand, Mexico when Miura couldn't meet the volume numbers. Since Taylor Made long ago stopped putting the stickers on the irons for that very reason (people rejecting the non Japan/Miura irons) the only sure way is buy a set from Miura either directly or from retailers that carry them as stated above.

 

Many of the first blades Nike made for Tiger were done by Miura but the production version (different muscle design) including the Tiger limited edition are done by Endo in Thailand where the bulk of Endo's forgings are now done.
