Need your opinion on sweet spot issue.

I recently tried a new 2014 hotlist head with several aftermarket shafts. When I hit the sweet spot- center of face. I had higher spin and less distance. Club rep said that I need to hit above center to hit further and less spin. When I did that the vibration ran right up the shaft into my hands. The spin was less but didn't care for the feel. Does anyone have an opinion on this.

 

I have strong load up and swing 118 mph. Looking for head and shaft with lower spin and rewards you when you hit dead center of head.

 

Has anyone ever heard that you should hit above center?

Another question about spin. Does a lower loft club face, lower the back spin?

The Geek DCT is made to be hit dead center not above.

I know that I'm way out of my league with you big swingers, I love to hit it long but 315 is huge drive for me. I just thought that I could get some good info from you longer hitters that do it for a living. I get asked to play in scrambles because they like to use my drives. I was thinking of upgrading my driver/shaft but I was finding out that I was getting penalized with more spin and less distance when I hit it in the sweet spot. Rep was saying needed to hit it higher on the face, because that is where most joe's hit it. Ya, I think he called me a Joe. LOL
Do you think that I would benefit purchasing a LD Driver for a 120 mph swing carry average 275 with 10-20yd roll out? My miss is a big snap hook. I have been doing a lot better as of late to control the ball straighter. Isn't a lot harder to control LD drivers over OEM drives?

LD drivers is more about shaft fit for swing profile,,get your swing checked first LD max is 50" very hard to handle I am only 5ft 8" SS 130mph and use a 48.5" I can't handle the 50"yet,,,if u have a 120mph SS you can handle x stiff shaft mid kick
