Too Far Inside! Please Help!

Hey guys!

 

Within the past week, I have developed an unnatural inside-out swing. It's so defined that I have been shanking/heel shots my irons and hitting off the heel with my driver. It is also bad enough that I tend to hit behind the ball with irons and drop kick my driver. I have spent several hours over the past few days and feel like I haven't gotten to far and it's really discouraging!

 

If you guys could please take a look at this video, and tell me what you see as well as some suggested fixes/drills, that would be great!

 

The one thing I noticed is it seems that I have a drop/backwards loop in transition, which looks to be one of the culprits for the dramatic inside out. Oh, and ignore the yellow alignement stick that I have in front of the ball!

You should find this beneficial, as he says in the video it's a great idea to practice only half shots to really get the feel embedded into your memory.


I also notice you're not moving your wrists at all in your entire swing and are creating almost no lag, you're missing out on a lot of distance because of this.

You sir are right on! Actually I had an epihpany on the course today as it dawned on me that my wrists weren't coming through at all..! It annoys me that it took 4 days and ~7 large range buckets to finally wake up and realize something so obvious! I have a round of 18 scheduled with a few buddies tomorrow, so it'll be the tell tale if there really is light at the end of the tunnel!

I checked out both videos that you provided and it definitely seems like the will cater to improving my swing!
