Needless to say, they're both fantastic. In my experience, the Y-grind is more scalpel like, very precise, great for exacting chips and pitches, particularly off tight lies. The K-grind is such a unique design that I'm still finding ways to use it in multiple situations. It's a real stand out from rough and any kind of irregular lie, an amazing utility kind of wedge.

How is the K grind off tight lies - eg, uphill and sandy, etc?

Thanks for the input guys. Heard from a friend who had tried the 60deg K grind, it was very easy to get out of the bunker using the K grind, fluffy sand, hardpan sand, u name it, the K grind takes care of it

You'll probably love it for that. I use my 60 or 64 K grinds without opening them up for bunker shots. The K grind really does seem to slide through rough easier too. I'm curious as to what you'll think about your 57C after a couple of rounds with the 60K.

Anything to do with an irregular lie -- i.e., uphill, sandy -- it's fantastic. Off of tight lies, it does dig in a little, adding a different bonus -- dead stop spin. On a punch chip, it goes one bounce, two bounce, stop.

Thanks. I love the wedge series 55, but for whatever reason didn't love the 59... Maybe the K is worth a try.

For better players, we sell more Y
For players struggling shots from rough and bunkers, K performs better.
