Snoop Dogggg
Dr Dre (great rapper, but he is a better producer)
Ice Cube (pretty much anyone from the West Coast)
Eminem (has brought hip hop back to life)
Wu Tang Clan
Lil Wayne (like eminem has brought hip hop back to life)
Kanye flat out sucks, he is a wanna be who interupts people when they are giving awards speeches, tool...

You can't have a list of greatest rappers without including Nas somewhere. Illmatic is a classic album. Wu-Tang Clan is my favorite rap group of all time and Ghostface is the best rapper among them, IMO. Although, Cappadonna was always one of personal favorites even though he isn't a great rapper(by most people's standards). RZA is my favorite producer. Which, consequently, he produced my favorite song by Biggie, 'Long Kiss Goodnight'... a classic track off Life After Death and you can hear RZA's influence all over that one.

I'd have to throw a few other names in the mix of greatest rappers. MC Guru(Gang Starr), Evidence(Dilated Peoples) and of course Rakim.
