Quick Review of my Slighterized White Hot.

Hey all....Here's as quick a review of my putter as I can give...so here goes. I couldn't wait to get a few rounds in so I'll elaborate on the first. *This was my first round - 2007*

For starters the greens were a little shaggy....the course I golfed at just opened yesterday. My putter is 33" in length, 3X Black Oxide finish, Red Anodized Aluminum insert, and Tungsten weighting. Head weight 345-350. Total putts for the day....29!!! Not too bad right out of the gates. I had 7, one putts....from 3',6',7',8',8',20'&,25'. It was nice to knock in a couple long ones. Not even a hint of a 3 putt. Longest putt I had all day was 35', and I cozied it right up no problem. I had 2 lipouts that I thought were going in, and I only left 2 short & online. This is the best feeling putter, I personally have ever putt with. The aluminum insert feels really good. Obviously, it's a touch firmer than the original White Hot insert....which personally I found a little too soft. My thanks again to Tom & his Crew. My stroke is pretty simple straight back, straight through. I think it works really well with this center-shafted putter. I want to get a Custom Slighter later this year....and I think I've kind of settled on the Tacoma. I will personally never buy another OTR putter. Custom is the way to go.....later.....Phil. ( Shot 83 from the tips @ a wet 6914 Yards, only 1 penalty- H2O. Didn't hit too many greens....I'll have to work on that. ;) )
