Tennessee Golf Trip suggestions

Hey guys, I'm setting up our golf trip for the upcoming year and need some suggestions. We usually head to Crossville, TN (Fairfield Glade) but the guys are wanting to try something different. I'm looking into the following courses: Greystone, Old Fort, Legends, Legacy and Hermitage. I've seen the Hidewaway at Arrington and the Grove, but do believe these are both private, Correct ??

If you guys could rank the best public courses I would greatly appreciate it.

Also, do any of the courses have an on site cottage or condo to house 8 people?

First, you should check the Southeast Region folder. That's where you'll find feedback on most of these. None of the courses have on site lodging. The best public courses in the Nashville area are Hermitage, Greystone, and Gaylord. Legends, Hideaway and the Grove are all private. I'm not sure Hideaway has opened yet.

The Hideaway is supposed to be open this spring and we were told that it would be open to the public at first but would become private at some point. I can't wait to get back over there and play it again when it opens. Man that course is super nice.

If you don't mind me asking, how long was your crossville trip and how much per round were you spending?

We went to Crossville last spring. You can get a 4 night package for around $350 to $400, depending on when you go. The golf courses are great, the night life wasn't. Found one good restaurant in town.
