Wondering the same thing. How's it looking this year?

Played there yesterday and it was in really nice shape. Greens were a little slow but they rolled good. Fairways were filled in except for a few areas along the edges where shade didn't allow the Bermuda to fill in all the way. It was my first time playing there and I really liked the layout. It seemed like a mix of Henry Horton and Bear Trace at Tims Ford. It cost a little more than I expected. $70 for my daughter and I and she only played 11 holes. But that probably won't keep me from going back again. I played really well (for me that is). It was a nice day to be out teeing it up.

Well I hate to say it but he was right. The greens are in terrible shape. Dead spots everywhere and they cut the long slits in them I guess to try and recover them. There was more sand on the greens than in the bunkers. The best part of the course was the fairways. They were nice down the middle, thin on the sides. It really wasn't worth the price or drive.

ok, thanks. Supposed to meet some boys from Knoxville. I will let them know. Maybe we can find something else. Kind of a shame. I really used to enjoy that golf course.

Is the course in good shape? I'll be staying at the park soon, and I'm trying to decide if I want to carve out some time to play it.

Have not played it this year but if you are going to be at the park anyway, definitely play it. It is a nice layout, challenging from the right tees, and generally in good shape. Falls Creek Falls Park is nice, but there just is not that much to do IMHO.
