He'll be driving a Porsche. Why would he drive some crappy GM product?

 

I never saw a Porsche when the GM products were delivered to him, but I guess you would know personally. He actually does drive the crappy GM products as you so eloquently put it due to your lack of vocabulary.

While I am not sure I am ready to label GM products "crappy" Tiger did drive this while he was pitching GM - although I believe Tiger's was blue:

I don't know guys. . . you're throwing out all of these sports car names and overlooking the fact that he's a new dad. Gotta have space in the automobile for the car seat. I'm saying he ends up with a brand new minivan in the garage to carry the entire Woods family. Well, or maybe a nice Escalade would hold all three comfortably :)

Not to disrupt a perfectly good WWTD thread, but the report I heard was that his role would be expanded to other GM products "such as OnStar". They never mentioned that he would be promoting other GM cars.

Tiger was a wild streak in him. GM should put him in a 2008 Chevy Corvette Z06. He won't get a sweeter ride in anything else in the GM stable.

This endorsement deal never made sense. Buicks are driven by old men.

 

Tiger's presence at tournaments drives up audiences who watch golf (a lot of "old men" or at least Buick target demographics). Tiger usually plays in all the Buick events (this week being a obvious exception). Therefore, the audience is up when a bunch of Buick commercials are running. Seems like it would work.

Another vote for a Z06. I don't make Tiger like money so I'll setttle for my regular C6. BTW, I think Tiger's commercials are actually pretty good.

GM had Tiger represent Buick because they wanted to to be the face of the "re-engineered" product line. If any of you have seen the new Enclave, then you know GM has made a smart decision. IMO, the Enclave is better than the SRX, and looks nicer too. I personally think he should represent all GM products, incuding Opel. Now that the Aura and Astra have landed, it would be cool to see Tiger driving a diesel Astra :friends: .

 

Now if he was only in a Jetta TDI ;)
