Iomic Grips

Hi all,

Does anyone use Iomic grips? I have always wanted some but never pulled the trigger because of size and price. I am no longer concerned with price but how do they shape up size wise?

I use Tour Velvet with 1 wrap at the top and 3 on the bottom. What Iomic would I start with to create a similar size. How long to Iomic last?

Bottom line, are they all that?

About sizing: that is also directly to the shape. Iomic has quite some taper. A midsize is slightly smaller at the butt than a golfpride midsize.

The quality unparalleled. IMHO it is the best grip out there. Tacky, strong, hardly any torque.

My favorite for years now.

Best way to find out is to buy a Reg, Mid and a Jumbo and do some testing.

Thanks, its the taper I try to get rid of by building the bottom hand up. I like a more cigar shaped grip (Said the president to his aid).

Is the regular the same as a tour velvet but with more taper? or might I be more like 2 layers on the butt and 4 on the bottom hand? I know its some what guessing but just trying to feel out how far off what I am using they might be.

I have been playing Lamkin I-Lines for the last few years and they have been my favorite, so much so that I've only got 3 left and may search eBay for more sets. They clean up well,wear well enough for me.

Iomics are my go to grip. I play the sticky 2.3 which is the "standard" size. If you keep them clean by wiping them down with a towel they should last as well as any other grip. I have experimented in the last couple years with building up grips, my opinion is that the same 1/3 should work. Awesome grips enjoy.
