How to learn stack and tilt swing.

I know there are alot of articles on stack and tilt swings. But how should I learn the swing, like order, how long should I take on each step. What are the key steps I should be looking at. I have 55 days until college starts so I have 55 days to learn this swing, so please help!!

I wouldn't learn this swing. Stick to the conventional one and you will get better results.

Agreed, unless you got one on one coaching.. its really wasting your time.

Is it a waste because if I practice it on my own I won't even be able to tell really what I am doing? I could understand this because of it being a different type of swing compared to conventional.

Yes, you will be going merry go round , unless you understand basic fundamentals already and gone through proper education, even that, its hard. Nobody should just trust a GOLF DIGEST article and make drastic changes to their swing without understanding, especially they know little about swing fundamentals.

 

Example OPS, I remember the heated arguments say a year back. The book and articles suggestion, created alot of pull slice tendencies, fat, casting, weak low trajectory. Because they don't understand and took the recomendations in the article literally, the only people who understand the pattern well are the JH group of coach. I think alot of people here try to got o a coach in their town to FIX their OPS swing..Just to make Tiger Happy?. big money wasted really. Trust your coach 100% or do not use him at all. Because let me put it bluntly, the recommendations in the OPS is going to hurt average golfers because the info is RELATIVE, not absolute. and S&T will be the same if you do not understand. BOTH are working models. How can the coach teach you the model he do not believe in or understands? ....Even within coaches their view of a perfect swing is hardly the same ....

 

I can tell you, from my understanding, the GOLF DIGEST's article is hardly the standard or the normal pattern, its a more special application for hitting low shots. and MORAD isn't about hitting low shots. Therefore more than one reasons you should not attempt on your own.. for fun its ok.. other than that ... its no fun.
