Dayton, OH golf 3/2 & 3/3

I'm playing hookie while my wife has a work conference in Dayton, March 1-3 (Wed. evening- Fri. afternoon), and would love to get out to play rounds Thursday (anytime) and Friday (earlier), weather permitting. We're staying at the Courtyard near campus, I was planning on just searching GolfNow Hot Deals but would rather have someone familiar with the area that can play with and lend some local knowledge.

I am somewhere in the 8-9 handicap range. I am not an ultra competitive golfer, nor am I a club thrower or yeller, but I do like to challenge myself, play well, and get frustrated when I hit a bad shot I know I should have executed. I'm not opposed (in the least) to grabbing a 6 pack before heading out and having music playing on a speaker, but I am equally comfortable walking 18 holes and playing a little more traditionally. To sum it up- I don't care what kind of golf I play, I just like to play :). I've found that it's a little more fun to play with a GolfWRX'er in a situation like this than getting randomly paired with a group and being the odd man out. At least I know we'll have the shared interest of golf equipment to start the conversation.

Not sure what my schedule will be that far out, but if I'm free I'd meet you at Windy knoll in Springfield for a round. Nice place.
