BEST HYBRID TOUR SHAFT

Hi guys, i recently got my hands on a Bridgestone j33 airmuscle and a J33 Utility wood from a friend on the nationwide tour. I was wondering what is the best hybrid shaft out there right now or the best shaft that would match up well with these two heads. thanks for any advice you can give.

The 3 shafts that get alot of good press are the NV hybrid, the IROD tour, and the Fuji 904B. Alot of the guys on the other major forum swear by the last two.

The MCC HB-T is a GREAT hybrid shaft. Very easy to get in the air and work. Does not spin the ball and does not go left. Very solid feel but does not feel too much like a board. IE NV Hybrid.

I have one in a RM TP 19* and it is great.

It comes in HT and LT. I think that it is around 95 grams.

i have a harrison impulse fwy wood in my J33 15* 3wd and it plays out solid.. besides the others mentioned which are very good also> check out the impulse, i-rod, accra tour hybrid, mcc flame hybrid, aldila gamer also.. these are more $$ wise and perform very well..

I looked at those earlier. Which one do you have? The low trajectory or the high trajectory? Which ever one you have can describe the trajectory please?

DGX-100 works for me ..... I like the smooth transition from my 4 iron to my hybrid. Graphite shafts make it play more like a wood/hybrid versus an iron/hybrid.

Agreed! I have found the X100 to be the most consistent and predictable shaft for my hybrid 19°..

Depends what sort of weighting you want in them. Hybrid shafts go from 80-100+ grm. For the wood like hybrids the 904HB is prob the best. For iron like hybrids the Impulse and DG would suit.

I have the harrison impulse in an Adams A2P hybrid and is the most stable shaft i've used. Tried the MCC HBT HT and the graphics put me off at address. The Irod CB100 was too harsh and the NV105 was terrible for me, no feel at all. Tried a TX90 and good value for money.
