Golf Resort

Hey guys was thinking about me and a few buddies going up the tullymore golf resort in Michigan and was wondering if anyone had experience with the course and area? I noticed that it is a top 100 public course which speaks for the course but is there other things in the area that are worth checking out? Also let me know of other resorts in the area that would be worth looking into to!

Played Tullymore last year and is pretty hard, but always in immaculate condition. The other course St. Ives is a lot of fun with elevation changes. I scored really well there. Not many if any resorts near Tullymore, but I actually think the high price tag is still worth the excellent golf they provide. Both Clubhouses are huge with good food/bar. Also Antlers is really good.

Hey mattd. I am a member at Tullymore/St. Ives. Both courses are in outstanding shape this year. Tullymore is preparing for the Symetra tour event coming up July 4th weekend. I agree with everything Timbo said. I am not sure of your handicap levels but both course have multiple tees so any skill level can be comfortable here. Other than the clubhouses we don't have much in the area other than lakes which don't really do much for golfers. Mt pleasant has a casino but you are look at a 50 min drive. I think the course does do a shuttle service for larger groups though. Let me know if you have other questions.

Hey O/D, do you know when Tullymore will re-open after the Symetra event? Might be looking to play there July 10th. Have a buddy from Florida who will be in Big Rapids.

The Monday after they let all the tournament volunteers play and then I am pretty sure Tuesday (July 4th) is business as usual. The 10th should be fine as long as there are open tee times which mid week there should be.
