Is it just me? Or have others noticed....

Don't know if it's already been brought up, but I have noticed an increase in any girl with a bit of beauty that can grab a golf club, and grab thousands of followers through "women with drive" (on Instagram), which I'm sure more then half have never played a full 18. While some may be great players, just never realized there were that many girls involved in the game. And before I get bashed, I'm not saying all...just suddenly there are a number of gorgeous girls playing golf everywhere but my course.

The reason I brought up, someone very close to me had to have a picture (which was taken from a private Facebook page of her at Topgolf), then requested to be pulled for employment reasons, was golf related, but in background wasn't appropriate and couldn't be associated; that being said, no she doesn't golf.

 

*first I said never in regards to prob "never played a full 18"; meaning a true golfer...just meant have a true interest in the game... some pages show a woman playing (videos, on course pics, etc) while some others look as if it is being used as a another way to jumpstart a modeling career as you can see a major difference in someone who plays the game and has a passion, while some are maybe looking for another way to be scene. If you are familiar with site and their page, you can see a major difference between a college golfer, or someone with aspirations of making the tour, while SOME others look as if it was scripted pictures as they have no interest in game, just promoting themselves.

Regrdless, i am still not understanding your concern here. If some hot chick wants to gain interweb following by holding a golf club for some photogs, then god bless her. I mean the kardashians are internet famous for doing nothing other than NBA players (teams?)

 

If your ultimate gripe is your closing quip in the OP, just lamenting the fact that your course is still 99% middle aged fat guys and devoid of 20 something hotties, then I feel your pain.
