Seeking GPS App with better visual contrast of hole layout

I've used a number of the popular free GPS apps out there (the Grint, 18Birdies, Skydroid and probably a couple more). The main problem I have is that they mostly use photographic satellite based views of the holes. (Because they're easy to obtain from Google and simillar.) The problem with this is that satellite imagery is hard to see in full sunlight because the images don't have enough visual contrast (even when I shade my phone with my body and have the brightness turned up fully.) This is particularly difficult in discerning fairway from rough or surrounding wooded areas.

 

GolfLogix has the contrast problem solved as they show re-rendered views of the holes in higher contrast colors. The problem is that I've found the app to be buggy and have other usability problems.

 

Anybody know of another app that has good, reliable GPS (fast GPS updates, not buggy) that also has a high-contrast view of each hole layout on the course? One time fees are OK, but I'm not interested in a subscription model.
