golf in southern Michigan

Im golfing the third week in October in mid to southern Michigan. Im looking to play about 6 rounds on very tree lined golf courses (fall colors). Any suggestions out there?

Kalamazoo MI (Area)

 

Stonehedge North - par 72 - 6 par 3's, 4's, 5's, fun course, open front 9, tree lined back 9

Stonehedge South - par 72 - mid length, very tight tree lines, mostly pines, tough

Yarrow Golf Club - best course in SW michigan (IMO), par 72, mix of open and tree lined holes, lots of "vista" views on eleveated tees, etc.

 

All 3 of the above courses in within 5 miles of each other (10-12 miles outside of Kalamazoo MI)

 

Grand Rapids Area (haven't played these as much as the others)

 

Quail Ridge

Boulder Creek

Pilgrims Run - about 40 min north of Grand Rapids, very good

Tullymore - about an hour north of Grand Rapids, very good

 

Call ahead to any that you plan to visit as most courses are aerating their greens right now. If they're all aerated when you call, the Stonehedge courses will have the best greens as they have the most expensive machine available, harldly even leaves a mark in the greens, can't even tell a day later.
