Tampa family trip

I am from Wisconsin, the family is traveling to the Tampa area (Bloomingdale Ridge) for Thanksgiving. I am a single digit golf nut, the rest of the family plays occasionally. I am looking for somewhere close to take the family for 1 round, and some options for myself where I could go early morning or late afternoon on my own. I do not want to drive too far because we have limited vehicles. Looking for best course, price, location.

Innisbrook courses are always good and World Woods courses are certainly worth a little extra drive.

on that side of town i'd play cypress creek or drive 40 minutes north and play lake jovita.

 

crossing town over st pete can take over 1 hour pending traffic.

Cypress Creek is an excellent course that will hold you attention. Another course to consider is Summerfield Crossing.. it is more wide open if you have family that are not low hcp players. ALSO, the course was used for the Duramend Futures tour for 2 plus years. That tour is now known as the Symetra Tour ...

 

And if you have never been to a TopGolf you are even closer!! Lots of sound opportunities. Lake Jovita is at exit 285 on I-75... I think you are around exit 250-260. So it is a solid drive and once you are off the interstate you still have about 7 miles to go.
