Any golf shops worth taking my time to visit while in London? TIA

How long are you over for and where are you staying?

 

Tbh central London is pretty average these days. There are a few American Golf stores around but nothing compared to the quality of some of the US stores I have been too.

 

By far the best golf store I have been to in the UK is at Silvermere GC which is in Cobham just outside London.

I'll be in central London for 5 days. Figured there wouldn't be much, but wanted to check. I may have some down time at some point.

There’s not much at all, other than the odd American Golf store here and there, which is perfectly fine as long as you’re only looking for stock shafts in regular flex.

 

There’s a shop called Capital Golf, near Oxford St.i haven’t been there for years as the owner is a ****, and their sole aim is to rip people off. That said, I believe they might have cleaned up their act a bit lately, and have even given their shop a refit.

 

As the above poster says, you need to travel to find a decent golf shop. Silvermere is a good place (great for lefties) but it’s a bit of a faff to get to.

Capital Golf are ok and I'm fairly certain they have a sim there. Mostly clothing the last time I was there.
