Atlanta - Masters Week

Hey everyone. I am a ClubCorp member and am traveling to Atlanta for the Masters. Some of the top courses are already booked and/or closed on Tuesdays, so I'm looking for some advice on courses. Im staying in Buckhead but have a car so as long as its a reasonable distance I am ok. Here are the available ones:

 

Braelinn

Brookfield

Eagles Landing

Laurel Springs

Olde Atlanta Golf CLub

Northwood

Polo Golf and Country Club

White Columns

Windemere

 

Manor, Bears Best, Atlanta National, and CC of the South were either booked or closed.

Laurel Springs, White Columns & Windermere are good. Don't know what shape they're in as they all got a ton of rain this winter/spring.

If you can get on Cherokee Run in Conyers, it's worth playing. Not Clubcorp though.

Chateau Elan is a really nice one I’ve played. I’ve heard the new Bobby Jones Golf Course is really good too.

This!! We've gotten so much rain winter/spring.

Better call and check punch schedules. I know White Columns and Polo punched on March 18. Still not healed.

 

Eagles landing is one of the best courses on that list of yours. Bent greens so beware.

 

Played Laurel Springs last week. Greens are like a parking lot. Good shape overall.

Old Atlanta - the track kinda sucks imo

Brookfield is solid

North wood - NO

BRAELIN - no idea

Of this grouping...White Columns, Windermere would be my top two choices.

I've played Northwood...several semi-private are better. Laurel Springs is a Nicklaus course, nice, but nothing to write home about. Olde ATL, avg golf at best. Eagles Landing is nice, but I would continue on down to Heron Bay or River Forest if I were going to go down there and fight traffice coming back.

Heron Bay is no longer a ClubCorps course.
