Scratch wedge users were in top form the first 2 days at the Nationwide Chattanooga Classic at the Black Creek club in Chattanooga TN. The overnight leader (who shot 62 yeaterday) is T1 after rallying with 5 birdies in a row to get to -13 for the tournament. This player uses 52* 56* and 60* Antique TNC grind Tour Department wedges.

We also have 2 players that are T13 and 1 player that is T19.

One of the players that is T13 uses 53* and 58* Satin Chrome PDG grind JLM wedges.
The other one uses 49* and 54* Satin Chrome DOG grind and a 60* Satin Chrome EBN grind Tour Department wedges.
The player that is T19 uses a Satin finish DOG grind 53* Tour Department wedge.

Team Scratch is currently 42 under par for the tournamnet.

Scratch Golf Still The # 1 Forged Wedge on The Nationwide Tour Over Past Ten Weeks!

 

 

Eugene, OR, October 22, 2007 – Scratch Golf (www.scratchgolf.com) wedges earned a tie for 3rd at the PGA Nationwide Tour’s “Chattanooga Classic”, which was held yesterday at Black Creek Club in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Scratch wedges were used by this 2007 PGA Tour exempt player as he stormed to the top of the leaderboard with an opening round, ten under par 62. Scratch Golf has had more forged wedges in play on the Nationwide Tour over the past 10 weeks than any other forged wedge manufacturer.

 

“It was another great week for us out on the Nationwide,” Scratch Golf PGA Tour Rep Paul Friedrich observed. “In two of the last three or four events we’ve had the first round lead, as we did in Chattanooga. We feel that it’s only a matter of time before we get our first win out here, which would be great. We are very pleased that so many of our wedges are in play every week on the Nationwide as we head into the final two events of the season, the Miccosukee Championship in Florida and the Nationwide Tour Championship in California. Our congratulations to this week’s Scratch top ten finisher and our thanks go out to all of the players that choose to use our wedges.”

I'm very sorry about that, but we have had such an amazing responce to the custom studio, that it required us to run on a dedicated server. This took a little while to set up but this will never be an issue again. Again I apologize for the inconvienence and it shoudl be up and running now.
