Toe Down, Heel Shots and Pulls

So I'm having some trouble figuring this out since conventional lie angle wisdom doesn't seem to apply. My biggest issue seems to be a toe crash of sorts where the toe is down. In my head I thought flattening the lie angle angle would allow the club head to square up at impact...apparently it's the opposite and technically if the toe is down at impact the club could be too flat? I believe my current setup is 2* upright.

My iron and wedge shots are almost exclusively heeled (like 10mm+ heeled), commonly pulled (square club face...never pushed), with a 3-4* toe down clubhead, and a 3* in-out club path. Pretty steep angle of attack (6.5* or so with a 7i).

I'm sure I'm in need of a swing fix...but was just curious how I could be toe crashing and hitting pull heel shots at the same time when the club face is actually square

Ball position? I'm certainly not an expert, but it seems like if if you're steep with the ball a bit too far back and the clubface closed to the path at the point of contact it could cause a heel-pull, even with the toe down.

I would wait on keener minds to comment, regardless.
