Bad Driver Snap Hook......Please Help!!!

Can you help me with my hard snap hook?  My irons are dead on, but my drivers are struggling BAD.  Can you help me?  It has been this way for the last year or two.  I have quite a few clips from the range today.  I tried shifting my grip so my right hand thumb is in line with the top of my shaft.

A few things going on here that are working against you. Starting with setup, your right hand grip looks extremely strong and your shoulders are aimed miles left compared to your feet. Right out of the gate, this screams "left" unless your swing was geared towards hitting a really strong hold off fade. Unfortunately it is not as you then get way across the line at the top and then come way from the inside looking like you're trying to start the ball miles right and hit a big slinging hook. 

There are a few things you definitely need to fix and a few things that become optional based on how you want proceed after the fixes. First, your grip should neutralize out more and your shoulders should be more in line with your feet. A strong grip is not inherently bad, but you have one because you're slinging the club from the inside and you need to be able to slam the clubface shut otherwise you'd be blocking it off the planet to the right. This will lead to those big hooks and the toe misses that often cause them. The grip and the swing plane are connected and you'll need to address both; a more neutral grip and a more neutral swing plane that is not coming so far from the inside and getting so far across the line at the top. This should be handled by a professional who can get hands on with you. 

From there it will depend on what happens at the top of the swing. Right now you have a pretty shut clubface at the top. The necessary adjustments to your grip might change this, or it might stay that way due to feel preference, in which case the most popular thing to do with that is what DJ and Morikawa do and what David Duval did in the past; aggressively utilize the lower body to turn hard and hold off the clubface from shutting to play a straight ball to a fade. 

You said that your irons are dead on, but unfortunately unless your iron swing is drastically different with them, which it usually isn't, you will need to adapt to the above changes there as well. You likely will not be able to just "fix" your driver swing as what you've likely done is learn how to hit your irons with these setup and swing flaws, but your driver isn't letting you get away with it. Don't get discouraged if your iron play suffers for awhile if you start changing these things. If you can learn to hit them well with your current swing then you can certainly adapt to a more fundamentally sound one. Best of luck!
