stay w/ 735s or go with i3s/i5s - opinions?

as title describes..
OK, wanted some opinions on these sets.

Right now I have the 735s in my bag, and I can shoot anywhere in the 80s (sometimes high, sometimes low 80s) - I'd say my short game is what's letting me down. My iron play is ok, but once in a while, I thin or fat one (usually thin).

Demo'ed the i5 5 and 9 irons (black dot) at the range with tt dgs300s in them. Found the 9 to go nice and high and pretty straight. Compared side by side with my 735s, and the short to mid irons in mine were almost as easy to hit, but got some stingers when not hit right in the sweet spot.

Long irons in the i5s seemed to go higher, but didn't seem that much more forgiving than my set. Found out there were ball marks out towards the toe on the i5s, so maybe I wasn't striking properly, the lie wasn't good for me, or it could be just my swing, although my 735s have the ball marks nearly in the sweet spot.

I think the 735s are a bit over my head (for my skill level), but not sure.

Should I pull the trigger on some i5s, or i3s or stick with my 735s? Are the i3's as good as the i5s, or do the i5's have better feel and forgiveness?

Any opinions/experiences with the aformentioned sets would be appreciated.

thanks in advance.

I'd like to see you stay with what you have, put in a lot of work on your chipping and especially putting, and I think you'll have a better chance of improving your scores that way, rather than chasing the "magical iron set"

Good Luck!

Any opinions/experiences with the aformentioned sets would be appreciated.

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
