Directed Force shaft diameter??

Hey guys- ordered a directed force didn’t want to pay the extra for the stability shaft until I decided if I liked the putter and I can easily install it later. Does anyone know the tip diameter I need to order? The KBS CT is stock I assume it’s .355 but can’t find any info to confirm. Thanks!

its .370 but if you are doing a BGT, I would just cut the existing shaft and come over it. We have a weird shafting process and I wouldn't pull that shaft.

Thank you! Would this cause any issue with the weighing for lie angle?

If you use the same model grip, the impact on torque should be fairly negligible. If you feel it twisting on you, we can re-balance it for you.

Ordered the .370 model of the BGT. Trying to install but at the 8.25” cut off length BGT recommends the .370 model will not fit. Will I need a .390 model?

The shaft may have been tipped. BGT has a little tool to determine where to cut. Maybe ask them to send you one

For anyone following- I had to use calipers and find where the shaft got down to .370 and cut there. Roughly 6” of shaft remaining on mine. I checked with them and BST let me know this would not be an issue. Got the shaft installed and really liking it so far and absolutely loving the Directed Force. Thanks for the assistance!

Can you please specify what you mean by “cut the shaft and come over it”?? I also want to install a BGT on my DF. Also, will I need to rebalance if I shorten the shaft 1 or 2 inches? Thank you
