Short Game Instruction Hilton Head Island Area

Can anyone please recommend an excellent instructor for short game (especially pitching) around HHI?  I have a 2nd home in the area, can get to HHI, Bluffton etc.

 

Left to my own research, I might do the 3 hour short game school at the Sea Pines Learning Center.  Can anyone offer a review of that?
 

Anyone know other instructors specializing in short game?

FWIW, CR and Belfair both have much better short game areas than Sea Pines.

I’m definitely contacting Jason there.

Any other suggestions?  My experience has been that some teachers sort of delve into short game more than others.

If you’re up for a drive toward Savannah, Fred at Savannah Harbor is a great short game instructor.

Andrew Rice is also featured as an instructor there, maybe Fred is more short game oriented.

Yup Fred is a great instructor. Great iron player as well. Fred is also very reasonably priced. Andrew Rice is pretty high dollar from what I’ve heard.

I’ve paid $250 to AMG for full swing mechanics, but those guys have more data and systems to measure than anyone.  I trust what they say as solid.  Have also worked with Monte who I trust.

 

Short game seems different - mechanics but also feel and creativity.  I think my basic mechanics are decent (from video) but want a checkup plus some ideas on the creativity front and what works best under pressure.  Then I suppose it’s many hours practicing to get feel, reliability and confidence.

 

Jason is $200/hr, people get what they can get.
