Jones Bag

I am looking at getting a Jones original or players bag but was wondering if people could talk about their experience with them.

 

I love the style but was wondering how if you could put it on a cart if you decide to ride for a round and it seems like you can fit 14 clubs in there ok has anyone had trouble with that?

 

I’m also not sure what color to get so if anyone has a picture of theirs and wouldn’t mind sharing I’d love to see!

I have the Original Stand from when they first came out (2010 if I recall) with a few added club tube dividers in the top section, 14 clubs is manageable but very tight. Driver/Fairways in the top, Putter 4-9 middle, wedges in the bottom. It's really more of a 10-12 club bag max.

 

I use a SM cart bag now for full set and the Jones for the range/ half set, 6-8 clubs.

Hey seen your post. I have a jones player bag and it’s been great to me so far. Works great on a cart when you decide to ride. The plastic bottom helps with that. I carry 9-10 clubs with plenty room to fit a full set in if need. Lots of storage for balls gloves tees etc in the front and the larger pocket on the back fits a sweater or jacket and water bottle very easily. Hope that helps! This is the one I have now.

Just to add my two cents,  I too enjoy my Players Series #001 bag but prefer the newer version, Series R. New recycled materials, the elastic water bottle sleeve is a lot better and fits everything you need. The spine makes it easy to cart occasionally but I tend to walk and carry a half set. Keep in mind that the ORIGINAL does not have a spine and uses the clubs for the structure, not easy to put that in a cart.
