Confidence is king. Just look at the tour for proof. You see guys putting badly go into a comfortable course that they know well and putt great and it carries over into future events.

Here's a funny ol' thing: I assumed larger grips would work better for me.  (My driver through wedges all get jumbo grips--I have big hands.)  Nope.  Standard pistol grip seems to work best for me with putters.  Go figure.

I have huge hands too as in XXL on gloves. I still use a standard sized grips on my swinging clubs because I was taught old school to hold the grip in my fingers. Putters I have been through it all the last 4 or 5 years. Been through all sizes of Super Strokes. Found out through playing vintage golf the regular sized old school standard grips do well for me even though I use a claw grip with my hands. Recently I found a new grip which is a standard sized pistol type. Of all things Swing Science brand. They look and feel like a Tour Velvet and they feel so good to me that my hands naturally relax. I hope I can be some help with my insight and I will say what works for me may not work for you or anyone else
