Lowering of Spine angle during swing

Pros and better players seem to do this.
During my swing rebuilding from a lateral movement to more rotary I've been fighting a tendency to raise up at the top of my back swing. I think it has something to do with my arm run on after my shoulders stop. At least working on that seems to reduce the issue. While studying other swings I've noticed that a lot of professionals lower their spine either during the back swing or on the down swing or perhaps both to a certain extent. It's rare to find anyone coming up at all during the swing and if they do they still go lower through the ball than where they started at address.

Would some of you experts chime in on what's going on that requires or causes the spine angle to apparently go lower during the swing?

I fully agree with your observations. No Expert but also my observations .

My believe is , Weight shift and legs movements. What is connected to it ? What really anchor us? Gravity... when we shift our weight and each part lag each part.. what will happen naturally? ...

Truth is , you can't anchor your head in the air or spine in the air. They are able to move 3 Dimensional. Spine is able to bend 90* in most directions, so does the neck. A still head is good but its more likely an EFFECT of the model rather than trying to do it. A STILL spine is BS..People drawing and aiming at constant spine angle, butt angle .. I think these people are novice hehe.

Ok.. flame on lol..

IMOP, the one's that move down on the way back or down simply didn't start their swings in their impact alignments so they had to adjust.

In the backswing it's almost always caused by the right hip being too high in the set up OR the right hip "sliding up" rather than "turning backwards"..........

In the downswing with good players it's almost always due to the fact the they are going to strike the ball wit LEVERAGE and the left arm/shaft will form a "shorter radius" than at address......hence the need to "work toward the ground" a bit to make up the difference in the length of this radius so as to strike the ball with leverage............

And that's another good reason for the spine tlit changes...... :) :partytime2:

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
