Agreed. And this is why it is up to the player have awareness and learn technique that is most productive for his/her own game.

I consider golf to be a technique game more so than one requiring extraordinary speed, strength, speed etc...One of the best aspects of the game is that anyone of average physical capabilities can learn effective technique and play great golf.

I took lessons from Mike Austin and Mike Dunaway, Austin's philosophy was to use the body like a big whip from the ground up to apply energy to the clubhead. 

 

There's a reason the clubhead was the last thing to move in the takeaways of the old school players.
