GripMaster Roo Leather Midsize Paddle Putter Grip

Has anyone ever tried one of these? I like the look of the profile on images, and the sound of a true leather putter grip has me intrigued... 

 

My SS Tour 1.0 is nearly great but not quite perfect... I feel the lower part of the grip is just a bit too thick..

I have the paddle Classic Wrap. I like the profile. A slightly bigger than a Scotty Matador, very similar profile to a Ping PP61.

Tacky, almost sticky. Kind of like a glass a 2 year old hands you after he's eaten. However, the tackiness doesn't transfer to your hands or clothes. The Roos are supposed to be tackier than normal.

The leather looks great and many grips are $30 or more these days anyway. The taper of the paddle is more than an SS 1.0.

Yeah, the tackiness is the thing that turns most people off. IF you like it, you like it. If you don't, you DON'T. I have Master Grip swinger grips in the Master, Classic Wrap and Roo. I find the first two to be more tacky than the Roo. HOWEVER, I haven't any of these in putter grips because they didn't have the taper So I have no isea if the tackiness is the same between swinger and putter grips. I prefer until recently (FL28) and only out of Australia (factory location). I currently have the Toulon Design Oversize on my Stroke Lab putters and like it too much to change. It's leather also (pebbled texture) and is not tacky, which is what I want on my putter grip. My swingers OTOH, are tacky as h*ll! I believe the least tacky grip they make is the Signature Cabretta because I had one of these in a midsize a few years back and it literally had no tack at all. The only issue is they will bleed the color if they get wet, so you have to be careful which color you get.
