Masters 2024

First time going to Masters on Saturday and Sunday Tournament round. I know this has been posted before but would love to hear any and all advice. I know about getting there early, pro shopping and shipping it home, buying a chair and placing it in a good spot for later. Would love to hear the rest! Doesn’t feel real that I am going and won’t till I get there. Would love to hear from you guys. I’m pretty young (mid 20s) so not sure if I can spend $1k on pro shop but was thinking maybe 300-400 getting maybe a couple polos, jacket, and flag

Last year tee times started at 11:30 for SAT and 12:30 for SUN, so no hurry to get there unless you want to place a chair on 18 on SUN.  But since you're young:

SAT

6:20am - Park

7ish am - Get thru ticket scanner at North Gate, see amazing sunrise

7:10am - In merch store, buy your stuff, check it next door for pickup later, don't bother with chair

7:30am - Have first beer

8:00am - Enter, head left and around clubhouse, get photo taken at Founders circle

8:30am - Begin to walk the course backwards, seeing it with no one on it

9:30am - Get 2nd beer

11:30am - Watch the first group go off #1

Noon - Watch some action at the range

1pm - Get 3rd beer

Rest of day - If you have a favorite, follow them around.  If not bounce around the course

SUN

6:20am - Park

7ish am - Get thru ticket scanner at North Gate, see amazing sunrise

7:10am - In merch store, buy a chair, and anything you forgot yesterday

7:30am - Have first beer

8:00am - Enter, head left and place chair on 18 greeen

8:10am - Back around clubhouse, get another photo taken at Founders circle

8:30am - Walk the course forwards, seeing it with no one on it

9:30am - Get 2nd beer

12:30am - Watch the first group go off #1

1pm - Get 3rd beer

Rest of day - If you have a favorite, follow them around.  If not bounce around the course

4pm ish - Watch the last groups at 18 green

6pm ish - Watch the Green Jacket ceremony on the putting green by 18 green

Why not buy the chair Saturday so you can use it Sunday, and skip the time at the merch store?

I'm not a chair guy; I'd prefer to walk and see the whole course on Saturday, and not camp out in a chair at one spot.  But I'd be willing to do a chair on 18 Green on Sunday.

Getting there from a red eye out west Saturday around noon. Plan would be to hit pro shop first, walk whole course and just take it all in. Sunday get there early to get chairs and set up. Thinking setting chair at 12/13,16, or 18. Any opinions?

Place chair on 18 Green on SUN.  Holes 12, 13, 16 all have grandstands you can sit in.

Will be there Friday afternoon through Saturday full days and looking for some tickets that might be less expensive than Stubhub.  I'm willing to chance it and try the day of but not sure where to start looking.  I had read that there was a stubhub house or location where you could possibly rent badges or buy tickets for cheaper later in the day on the day of but I have no details on where that might be located today.

Any help would be appreciated.

Every thing you need is here; the Stubhub house address for this year hasn't been released, but most likely the same as last year, or nearby

Wouldn't get your hopes up about putting a chair down near the 18th green on Sunday unless you're a member/have clubhouse access.  Scruffy watched the members and their guests let onto the Course early on Sunday morning a few years ago and they take most of the good spots.  Crowd is also largest around the 1st tee so if you want a spot up there better put a chair down early.

Heading to Atlanta and driving to Augusta tomorrow late night and hoping to score some practice tickets so we can do some early shopping (we won Sunday tix).  If anyone has recommendations on things to do, places to eat, and / or get lucky and score some practice round tix - let me know.  Excited to see this place!
