Can someone tell me what this little piece of metal? is that fell out of my head when replacing shafts?

Title. I'm just wondering if this is a cap to the head or what in the world is this? Is the head okay? Sorry I am very much an amateur.

Could have been a lead tip weight that was melted during the removal. Or a plug for the pocket in the bottom.

Thanks for the quick response. I assumed it was a plug or stopper but inexperienced here. Is there a solution or core problem, I guess?

No problem. You may need that pocket to get the swing weight where you want it. I have added tungsten power in those pockets. Or simply a tip weight in the shaft. I am not familiar with that head. Is if filled with a foam or polymer?

Hosel bore plug.

It’s a flat piece that they use to cover the extended bore that goes below the insertion depth of the shaft. You can see in your one pic how the hosel steps in to a slightly narrower bore. They can put extra weight below the insertion depth of the shaft in that extended bore then they cover it with that little cap that fell out.
