This thread is created and maintained by SJ Golf Lab, makers of the FreeFlex and MetaFlex golf shafts based in Korea.

 

Our goal here is to connect with golfers who have tried our shafts or are interested in knowing more about how they can help your game. To this end, this thread will be regularly updated with latest news, pics, upcoming prototypes, and demo opportunities.

 

We are keen for honest feedback and discussions with genuine interest as we believe our shafts can help a huge percentage of golfers enjoy the game more with less strain on the body. And of course, more distance and accuracy couldn't hurt.

 

Our FreeFlex Technology (FFT) and Carbon Bending Technolgy (CBT) allows us to create shaft profiles that were previously not thought possible. Whether you're a novice with a slow, choppy swing or a tour level speedster with a swing like Tiger, Rahm, or Els, we have the shaft for you.

I have a set of the Meta Flex ix90 irons in my MacGregor MT-Milled and I love them. Putting them on my wedges right now. 

 

Will update tomorrow with pictures of irons and wedges.

The ix90 shafts are great for feel and control. Don't forget to trim them only from the butt end, as all of our shafts do not need to be tipped!

I’m a huge fan of the Metaflex shaft. The dispersion is tighter for me, compared to the Autoflex, with the same increase in club head speed of 2-3 mph.

MetaFlex was specially engineered to feel firm at impact while retaining the characteristics of softer shafts for distance and control. So faster, more aggressive hitter-types can still swing hard without having to worry about the whippy feel. What model of MetaFlex driver shaft do you use and what is your swing speed and type?

Have the SJ Golf product through my bag. Driver(s) fairway woods, hybrid, and irons, love them all !

IF I had to pick a favourite, it might just be the fairway shaft, it's a beast. Soooo easy to swing, and the distance / speed it gives is fantastic.

Quite the collection you've got. Looks like you only need some wedges and putter shafts to complete the collection. Nice. Interesting aspect here is that the MetaFlex driver shafts and the FreeFlex FW both work great for you. Another indicator that FF and MF tech work for a wide variety of swings and golfers.

Wow. The black carbon and neon pink combo looks amazing! Can't wait to see the finished wedges and how they perform for you. Let me kmow and we will feature them in our upcoming Ig posts as well. 👍😎

This video of our Hammer Throw shaft recently made quite an impact online. Many mistook it for a training aid but it is an actual driver shaft you can use on the course.

 

At 62g, 140cpm(!) but strong torque below 3.5 it is actually a beast in the hands of a wide spectrum of golfers and swing speeds

 

The HT shaft also demonstrates our advanced shaft technology, which allows us to combine super soft flex for distance with low/strong torque for accuracy. And we can even manipulate lightweight and firmess of feel into the already improbable mix.
