Tips/Drills to stop thinning...

Hello everyone.Anyone have any good tips/drills to stop thinning? I hit the range yesterday for the first time this year and couldnt have been more frustrated. It felt like i changed from a 4hdcp to around 30 over the winter.I know enough about swings and how to figure out the problems but could use a little extra help. Im sorry i dont have any video right now but i know im taking the club back too far to the inside and coming down WAY too far inside. Almost the whole bucket i hit were low thin screamers hit off the bottom of the club near the heel/hosel. Most were straight or blocked right.I know im basically crowding the ball on the downswing which is making me rise up. Add that to a little too much hip slide and it means disaster. The last 20 balls or so i tried to exagerate kepping the club in front of me and coming across the ball and trying to hit a slice and it worked to a degree. It felt like i wasnt making much of a turn though but maybe its cause im just not used to swinging like that. I hit some nice 5 yard cuts but also some nice banana balls which im not used to as well as the much higher ball fight. Long story shot anybody got some good tips/drills/swing thoughts on how to keep the club in front of me and stop coming too far inside on the way down? This lovely rainy weather in new england isnt helping either so it will be a day or so before i can hit some balls. Any help appreciated. Thanks
