Just looking through the US Open shots and saw these? Any ideas? They look pretty nice! Maybe a forgiving forged offering from Adams?

New Adams irons, A4 maybe? They kind of look like a game improvement club, lol. Adams has some great stuff, however.

in a recent golf central, i think it was one during the week of the crowne plaza invitational, they were talking to him about the idea pro hybrids, and they showed his bag and he had switched from the a3 irons to the idea pro forged golds, maybe switching again to a new proto?

I would have to see them from address, but the cavities look good. Only a matter of time before Adams becomes more of a major player.

They almost remind me of a set from Golfworks from a couple years back. Some Maltby design, the name escapes me.

Look good....Adams is up to something. Has anyone noticed the price drop on the XTD drivers? I couldn't believe it....why such a drop? They must be ready to release a new line.

These are the new adams a4 prototype irons. There is not many sets of these available yet, but they seem to be a good iron. The pro golds probably were not forgiving enough for Rory. What I am curious about is what 3 wood is Rory playing now did he switch to the adams xtd fp400f at the US OPEN or is he still playing the bty prototype.

turns out rory doesnt need the extra forgiveness he just needs the extra offset... turns out he has a rather low ball flight like nick watney, jim furyk, mike weir, and verious other tour pros... also turns out that rory is using a4s which are forged... the offset is just going to help you hit the ball higher it has nothing to do with forgivess...
