It's a great club both of the tee and off the deck. Really easy to elevate and very straight. I have no problem playing the 18* as the lone fairway wood in the bag, as it is almost the length of a 3W. Perfect club for me, everything I desire in a fairway wood. Nice transition from the FT-i.

Great looking bag! I love the squareway with the BB. I tried to get a red board for mine, but they didn't have any of the heavier weights in stock. Is your clocked open, or does it sit a little closed?

The Squareways appear closed at address however, they sit pretty square when measured. It is not clocked, no. The Blueboard plays really nice in this head and loft. No issues with trajectory. Yes, Callaway does not carry the RB 83 for some odd reason. You would think that as a shaft made primarily for the FW woods, they would carry heavier weights. Makes no sense. Since your 15* plays stronger, did you have it clocked closed?

I have a 5w head that the ferrule is set to 6 o'clock (1.7 open), so it plays a little weeker than 16deg. I then have the shaft at a standard 3w length. The distance is pretty good and is almost 3 wood length! I couldn't be happier with mine.

If it was 1.7 open, wouldn't the loft be stronger rather that weaker. Wouldn't it be playing closer to a 14* depending on the actual measured loft?

I think he's saying he's got a 5 wood head at about 18 degrees clocked almost two degrees open playing at around 16 degrees of loft. Am I reading that right?

Those new X-tour irons you have are the sex! My mate had them a couple

of years ago and hit them really sweet. He has the new X-20's which are also pretty good.

Not yet, but I will do so...I did of the 2080. The FT-9 will be an interesting one, since it's the first time I am using a 44" Driver at D3.
